Description:

Chromolithograph of a wallpaper design featuring three compartments framed with gold detailing: the central pilaster displays stylized foliated shapes in various shades of blue, while the elements on either side show colorful floral decorations against a purple background.

The author informs us that sixty to seventy woodblocks were required for the printing of the pilaster alone.
