Description:

Chromolithograph showing 16th century Egyptian glazed earthenware decoration from the walls of an unspecified kiosk, with arabesques of red carnations and other flowers forming an intricate pattern, complemented with borders positioned at the top and bottom, and displaying more stylized motifs.

The caption reads in the original French: Faïences murales d'un kiosque. (XVIe siècle.)
