Plate showing the helicoid shells of three species of sea snails in the family Muricidae, assigned by the author to the genus Monoceros, with the center one depicted as much larger than the ones at the top and bottom, which are seen from both front and back. The name assigned by the author is given first, followed by the current accepted name in parentheses:

  • 5. Monoceros unicarinatum (Acanthinucella spirata)
  • 6. Monoceros costatum (Acanthina monodon)
  • 7. Monoceros fusoides (Chorus giganteus)
