Description:

A seemingly baffled Jupiter is seen from the side sitting on a throne, holding a rod, and wearing a fur cloak. Next to him, in the foreground though partly off-frame, sits a moody eagle; on the other side of the throne stands Venus, wearing a diadem and gesturing with her arms.

The caption reads in the original German: Jupiter und Venus.
