Description:

Printer’s Mark of Guillaume de La Nouaille (150.?-1560?) showing a hydra on a pedestal clutching a globe in its claws. The motto Sic virtus oppressa resurgit means “Thus oppressed valor rises.” Guillaume de La Nouaille was a printer and bookseller in Limoges, France.
