Description:

Greenland gyrfalcon seen mostly from the back sitting on a rock, with its head turned backwards to look at the viewer. The former Greenland falcon is now considered to be the same species as the gyrfalcon. It is a local variety usually showing a white plumage highlighted with grey spots.
