Canterbury Cathedral, Crypt under Trinity Chapel

William the “Englishman,” who took over from William of Sens after he fell from a scaffold, was responsible for the Trinity Chapel and the crypt below it. It is distinct from the Norman crypt with its sculpted capitals.
