Book

Title:
Paris-almanach 1897
Author:
Morice, Charles
Publisher:
Paris: Ed. Sagot, 1897

Description:

Design for the front cover of the 1897—the third and last—edition of the Paris-almanach published by Ed. Sagot. It shows an upper-class woman picking apples from a garland wreathed around the book title, and offering them to a girl whose dress is decorated with a border of question marks.

The missing publisher's name and address, the paper quality, and the signature and numbers visible on other sheets of this set suggest a limited edition.
